The theme of the project is about the Forbidden City, which was built in 1420 and witnessed the rise and decline of  the Ming and Qing Dynasty. I have been to the Forbidden City seven times. I am deeply attracted by the architectural structure and colours there. I often imagine how the ancient people built this  more than 500 years ago. Some people say that creation comes from classics, and the integration of Chinese style and English should also be the collision of classics and creation. I mixed these architectural elements of the Forbidden City into my font design. A, B and C showed the preparation of building materials, while D to Z presented construction. I hope that through my design, people who know or do not know about the Forbidden City can enjoy the Forbidden City and even the ancient Chinese architecture as much as I do.
